The reason for lack of such works is probably because no one is gifted with good deal of knowledge in fiction, science and technology. Also it is a challenge one has to embark on, but where is the motivation here, do we have such a reader base? on the other hand we didn't know that such thing exist before Chetan Bhagat started writing.
